Welcome new and returning families to the 2019 school year!
It has been delightful to reconnect with students, families and staff after an enjoyable and relaxing Christmas Vacation period.
I would like to extend a special welcome to our new Kindergarten students and families who are starting their formal schooling journey.
Our new Kindies should have completed their Best Start assessments this week and be ready and excited about ‘Big School’ on Monday.
I know their Year 6 buddies are looking forward to assisting their transition.
Welcome Mrs Riches
This week we also welcome Sue Riches from Alberta, Canada.
Mrs Riches is an experienced and dedicated Canadian teacher who is on teacher exchange for the 2019 school year.
I am confident Mrs Riches will enjoy the Ocean Shores experience.
Similarly, our students, staff and community will benefit greatly from the experience and not only appreciate what Sue offers as an excellent teacher, but also learning about similarities and differences in Canada.
