Our extra-curricular highlights

NAIDOC Day Celebrations

Each year our school proudly celebrates NAIDOC Day, reflecting on the strength, resilience and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. With a special assembly, a performance by the Muggi Dancers, storytelling,, cultural workshops and indigenous games, students have the opportunity to engage and learn in a powerful and meaningful way.

Farmers' Market Program

As part of our Farmer's Market Program, each class has the opportunity to visit the local Farmers' Market to purchase fresh, local ingredients and then work together to create a nutritious and delicious meal from scratch to enjoy together.

Far North Coast Dance Festival

Each year our students have the opportunity to participate in this fantastic event, which involves over 1,000 students from public primary and high schools in the region. Teachers choreograph and prepare dances over many hours of rehearsal, culminating in an exciting public performance on stage.

Compass Music Festival

Students from our choir had the opportunity to join 400 other NSW Primary School students in Woolgoolga for a music performance in front of family and friends. Students were able to pursue their passion for singing on a professional stage - an amazing

Debating and public speaking

Students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. They also have the chance to compete in local and state events.

Trips and excursions

Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.

Gardening Program

Our students love getting their hands dirty in the school garden, where they learn to grow fruits, vegetables, and herbs from scratch. Through this hands-on experience, they develop an appreciation for nature, sustainability, and healthy living.
