Driving and parking

The start and end of the school day are busy times for pedestrians and drivers outside schools.

When driving and parking near our school, please:

• ensure you park safely in school zones

• follow speed signs

• drop your child off and pick them up on the school side of the road

Walking and cycling

The benefits of safely walking or cycling to and from school helps:

• promote physical activity
• reduce traffic
• reduce our carbon footprint
• provide an opportunity for supervising adults to talk with their child about road safety.

For primary-aged students, adult supervision while riding is recommended for their safety. Children under 16 are permitted to ride on the footpath unless prohibited by signage. When riding a bike, please ensure:

• Always wear a helmet when you ride or skate
• Ride your bike away from the road and busy roads.
