School Swimming Carnival

Last Friday's swimming carnival was one of the most enjoyable sporting events I have been involved with.

The enthusiasm and participation of students, along with their behaviour, was exceptional. 

Today the awards were presented to the age champions and the winning house which was Cedar.

Approximately 50 students will travel to the District Carnival in Ballina on Thursday.

We wish all our competitors luck!

A big thank you to the following parents for their assistance with timekeeping at the swimming carnival last Friday: Rachel McKenzie;  Frances Jankowski; Claudia Dunne; Louise O'Boyle; Kim Sharman and Narelle Russo.

A big thank you, also to parents, friends and grandparents that came to cheer on the students.

And a mention to Mr Hauritz who brought his extensive swimming carnival experience to the marshalling tent.
